The Landmark London began its story in 1899 as one of London’s original Victorian era railway hotels. Today it is a leading Five Red Star hotel bringing sophistication and serenity to the very heart of London.
The Landmark London captures attention immediately with a vast, airy courtyard unfolding beneath a glass atrium eight stories high. Potted palm trees soar up into the sunlight filling the space while some 300 luxury rooms and suites provide peaceful haven. But maintaining comfort in historic, celebrated buildings often means dealing with highly uncomfortable energy bills. Reducing these costs and meeting today’s ESG mandates—is a critical challenge for The Landmark London. Lowering energy costs within the context of a beloved historic structure is always difficult. But The Landmark London could not allow anything to threaten their ability to deliver a consistent 5-star guest experience along the way. So The Landmark London Hotel partnered with Verdant for an Energy Savings Test program.
Verdant smart thermostats were installed in ten rooms. But this was no ordinary retrofit. Because there were no disruptions to guests or operations.
